Those bleached ribs look like some prehistoric giant just gave up on life on this beach. I was trying to capture the sheer scale of the black sand grains, but the way the Ace Pro 2 rendered the texture of the bone actually surprised me. The sensor handled the high contrast between the dark shore and those bright clouds pretty well.

The way the Ace Pro 2 has rendered those skeletal ridges is quite something, providing a tactile, almost-tangible texture that makes the "prehistoric" feel genuine. The high contrast between the charcoal-dark sand and the brilliant, streaky clouds creates a starkness that feels honest to the coastal atmosphere. However, the wide-angle barrel distortion of that 4mm lens makes the foreground bone feel slightly bulbous, which distracts from the "giant" scale you were aiming for. To remedy this, try positioning yourself further back and using the Ace Pro 2’s digital zoom slightly to flatten the perspective and keep those ribs from looking like they’re bulging out of the frame. Next time, try to find a piece of driftwood or a rock to place in the lower third to ground those bones even further into the landscape. It’s a haunting, lonely shot that caught my eye immediately.
