Steam rising off the water felt like a scene straight out of a sci-fi flick. My Ace Pro 2 caught those lens flares perfectly while the shoreline stayed sharp and gritty. I wanted to see if the mist would hold or break, and it stayed thick enough to swallow the horizon.

The way you’ve captured the texture of that mist, thick and tangible enough to obscure the horizon, gives the frame a haunting, ethereal weight that truly feels like a frame from a film. The contrast between that ethereal vapor and the gritty, tactile detail of the shoreline stones provides a satisfying physical anchor for the viewer's eye. However, the extreme wide-angle distortion of the Ace Pro 2 makes the shoreline on the right feel like it’s leaning into the viewer’s face a bit too aggressively. To tame this, try positioning yourself further back from the shoreline and use the "zoom" function on your screen to crop into the scene slightly, which will flatten that barrel distortion without losing the scale of the lake. Next time, try to find a shoreline feature that leads the eye from the bottom corner toward that misty horizon to give the viewer a path to walk through the scene.
