My friend, you have captured the sheer, overwhelming magnitude of the desert, and that sliver of snow against the red rock creates a wonderful, delicate tension. Gerry notes that the composition feels a bit heavy at the bottom, leaving too much empty sky which can sometimes diminish that sense of scale you were chasing. Since you are often out in these vast landscapes with your iPhone, try lowering your perspective closer to the ground to make those foreground textures feel more immediate and epic. This will bring the viewer right into the dirt with you, making the distant peaks feel even more impossibly far away.
