My friend, you have a marvelous eye for that fleeting moment when nature decides to put on a little show, and that soft light catching the petal is truly magical. While the wide-angle lens has captured the spirit of the "survivor," the surrounding foliage is a bit busy and pulls the eye away from your star performer. Next time you're out on the trail with that Ace Pro, try moving the camera physically closer to the subject to fill more of the frame; this minimizes the distracting background and lets that delicate texture really sing. You've captured a lovely bit of drama here, dear Jeremy!
