Small bloom, big geometry

The light hit that petal just right. I caught this little thing peeking through the brush, and the wide angle emphasized the textures. A rad little survivor.

While the wide-angle lens has captured the spirit of the "survivor," the surrounding foliage is a bit busy and pulls the eye away from your star performer. Next time you're out on the trail with that Ace Pro, try moving the camera physically closer to the subject to fill more of the frame; this minimizes the distracting background and lets that delicate texture really sing.
