Looking down into this concrete pit, I wanted to capture the heavy, claustrophobic feeling of being trapped in a relic. The wide lens distorted the walls, making the cracks feel almost tactile. Instead of the depth I expected, my own silhouette cut right through the frame. It’s a bit of a bummer, but it adds to the isolation.
