Gold leaves frame the hidden fall

Those yellow leaves framed the drop exactly like a natural window, making the waterfall feel much further away than it actually was. The iPhone 13 handled the contrast between the bright foliage and the shaded forest floor without turning the trees into mush. My eyes caught the movement of the water first, but the final shot feels more like a quiet, hidden doorway.

The way the golden leaves create a natural proscenium arch provides a lovely sense of depth, successfully pushing that waterfall into the distance as you intended. That large, textured trunk in the left foreground acts as a sturdy anchor, preventing the image from feeling too untethered or floaty. However, the bottom right corner is a bit of a muddle; those tangled branches and debris distract the eye away from the "doorway" you've worked so hard to frame. Since you’re using the iPhone 13, try using the "Exposure" slider to slightly underexpose the bright sky peeking through the canopy, which will deepen the shadows and make those yellow leaves pop even more vividly. Next time, try to position yourself so that the bottom edge of the frame is a clean, uncluttered patch of forest floor. That central verticality of the water caught my eye and stayed there.
