Cold air hitting that water creates a thick layer of steam that feels like it belongs in a sci-fi movie. Those industrial buildings on the left get swallowed by the haze, making the whole scene feel strangely quiet. My phone would've struggled with that glare, but the Ace Pro 2 kept the highlights from totally washing out.

The way the mist behaves like a physical weight, partially veiling those industrial silhouettes, creates a heavy, muffled atmosphere that perfectly captures your "sci-fi" intent. The Ace Pro 2 has handled that harsh glare admirably, preserving a textured shimmer on the water rather than just a white void. However, the extreme wide-angle distortion of the 4mm lens makes the horizon line feel slightly tilted, which threatens to pull the viewer out of the stillness you've worked so hard to build. Next time you’re perched on that shoreline, try to physically level the camera by using a steady tripod mount or a steady hand to ensure those buildings sit perfectly flush with the horizon. You’ve captured a haunting, frozen moment of industrial solitude that actually makes Gerry pause to breathe it in.
