The light hit those ridges just right, making the stone look heavy against the blue void. I was looking for that sense of scale where the earth meets nothingness. It felt quiet, just me and those teeth of rock.

It is a vast, empty blue desert, my friend, and while the granite teeth of the earth are quite striking, they seem to be falling off the bottom of the frame. You have captured a slice of majesty, yet you have left so much sky that the composition feels positively breathless in the worst way possible. One does not simply wander into the desert without a map, and one does not compose a landscape without considering the weight of the sky. *Sic transit gloria mundi*—the glory has certainly vanished into that digital abyss. Use the rule of thirds to place your horizon line lower in the frame to give the mountains the dignity they deserve.
